An Evening of Worship and Music with Don Lewis and Tim Root...   What a wonderful event this was. Don and Tim combined to demonstrate how Roland products can enhance corporate worship.

Don showed off the capabilities of Roland's VP-550 Vocal & Ensemble Keyboard in impressive fashion. I could tell that Don is passionate about music and using technology to further its use. He provided several examples of how the VP-550 could be used to provide a background choir for a solo worship leader and gave suggestions on how to use it to enhance existing choirs and/or background singers. It was really cool. Even my 7th grader was interested. That says a lot. :-)

Tim Root demonstrated several drum and percussion items including the flagship V-Pro drum kit: TD-20S. This kit is amazing and should be seriously considered by churches requiring better controller over the volume of the drums. I used to own an older TD-10 kit. It was good, but the addition of the TD-20 brain and the V-cymbals is an incredible step up in the quality of the set. As a drummer, I would love to own the TD-20S, but at this point, I can't justify owning one... at least not yet.
